We had another beautiful November weekend. The weather was quite nice, and the sun was out. I just can't complain!
On Friday night was the Annual Chamber of Commerce banquet. It was pretty normal - a good supper laced with reports about various events that happened this year. Unfortunately, I was stuck presenting the financial report - the most boring part of the whole banquet.
On Saturday I visited the various craft sales in town - my favourite being the one at the Eidse farm. Lola had her beautiful art, pottery and jewellery for sale, as well as some delicious smelling flat breads. Others had baked goods for sale, and like usual, Jackie was handing out cups of her home made hot cocoa to everyone. Saturday afternoon entailed a trip to Starbuck where Ryan's Rosenort Atom team tied their hockey game 3-3. It was a good game.
"There was a point in the game where it looked like they were actually cycling the puck - and they scored!" - Coach Ryan
We also got the Christmas tree up with presents to boot, and the cat had a rather rough weekend and spent the day sleeping in the sink. Later in the day, his tail was lit on fire after brushing past a candle, and he left the room with a trail of smoke behind him. I don't think he was impressed.
