What an amazing weekend! The weather was just absolutely gorgeous, and we totally loved it. On Saturday morning, we got up at the crack of dawn to go garage-saling with friends Rick & Lori. We met them at their place at 8:30am, and we were off. Rick is a veteran garage-saler, and he looks for and collects "vintage" or hard to find toys that he sells on Ebay. After touring several sales with no success, he finally found an old Fisher Price McDonald's playset for $10. It was the find of the day! After giving up on the garage sales, we headed over to The Pancake House for a yummy brunch - and then onward to the Scattered Seeds Art & Craft Sale at the Assiniboine Downs. My mom had her stuff there, so we check out the show and brought her lunch. Then we were off again, this time to Shelmerdine's Garden Centre. We browsed, and I made my first Spring plant purchase - a lovely little Ivy plant. On the way back to the house, we stopped and toured a show home. It was pretty nice. We then enjoyed a great BBQ supper at Rick and Lori's, and spent some quality time lounging in the sun on the deck. After supper we went over to Greg and Susan's place for a bonfire, and drinks. A nice way to end the evening.
On Sunday we slept in, and then joined friends Fiona and Yvan for brunch in Morris. We then napped ALL day Sunday, until the evening when we had supper at C.K.'s with Frank and Jeanne.
We were then blessed with an awesome thunder shower last night, with another one predicted for tonight. I love thunder showers - and the first one of the season is always the best. Even though I was up at 4:00am, I much enjoyed the show.

So, Ryan is off to see the Alexisonfire concert tonight. I guess this will be his first concert at the MTS Centre. Oh, no it won't be - the concert is at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Nevermind! He's not really going to see Alexisonfire though. He is actually more interested in the opening band - Rise Against. Should be a good time! I'm skipping out of the concert for a quiet evening at home, as this particular genre of music doesn't interest me much.
